ADI’s Multi Market Power Business Unit is looking for innovative individuals with strong technical background to join our test development team in our Limerick location. The role of a Test Engineer includes designing and developing high performance test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for silicon validation, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing for power products such as DC-DC Converters, Temperature Sensors, Digital Power Solutions and GaN Drivers, and Protection Devices.
* Work with design engineers in defining/developing test methodologies, test plans, test modes, SCAN and IDDq test patterns.
* Develop innovative solutions to meet customer and product demands.
* Design, develop and debug multi-site, cost effective test hardware and software solutions for characterization, qualification and production wafer probe and final test.
* Work with layout engineers in designing of Printed Circuit Boards for multi-site test HW.
* Work with design engineers in validating and correlating new test solutions to design bench reference data.
* Manage and maintain project schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.
* Engage and support local and offshore manufacturing to maintain production yield and high quality, and resolve product and test problems after production release.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree a plus) in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience involving: analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits; designing hardware and software solutions for Automated Test Equipment that minimize test cost and maximize test performance; developing multi-site test programs using programming languages such as C/C++/C# or Visual Basic; using schematic and layout tools such as Cadence ALLEGRO; performing statistical data analysis using Excel, Exensio or other data analytics tools; and documenting and presenting test plans and evaluation reports for power and mixed-signal products. Experience with NI STS, ETS-364, ETS-88, SPEA, or uFlex platforms is an advantage. Demonstrated performance with leading-edge high-complexity mixed-signal Power products.
