Is é an cuspóir atá ag Uisce Éireann ná a bheith inchurtha leis an dúshlán a bhaineann le seirbhísí bunathraitheacha uisce a sholáthar chun go mbeidh rath ar phobail. Ciallaíonn sé sin go bhfuilimid bródúil as an bhfreagracht a ghlacadh as ár soláthar uisce a chosaint agus córas sábháilte uisce a chur ar aghaidh chuig daonra atá ag fás go tapa agus fás sóisialta agus eacnamaíoch na hÉireann a chumasú.
Táimid paiseanta faoi chumhacht a thabhairt dár ndaoine, iad a chumasú tionchar dearfach a bheith acu ar phobail ar fud na hÉireann. An Ról:
Tacaíonn foireann na Punainne le bainistíocht éifeachtach ar sholáthar chlár infheistíochta an SSB trí rialachas agus rialú a chinntiú trí bhainistíocht sonraí agus córais, trí phróisis agus trí fheidhmíocht a thuairisciú agus a anailísiú lena n-áirítear bainistíocht ar cheadanna pleanála, talún, ceada slí, fóntais agus reachtúla. Éascaíonn sé seo soláthar éifeachtach an chláir infheistíochta trí fheiceálacht chláir, bainistíocht fheasach rioscaí, anailís, dúshlán, agus cinnteoireacht a sholáthar. Soláthraíonn an fhoireann tacaíocht shaineolaíoch freisin i réimsí ríthábhachtacha lena gcumasaítear soláthar éifeachtach, éifeachtúil agus inbhuanaithe phunann infheistíochta an SSB.
Tá an fhoireann Bainistíochta Punainne freagrach as gníomhaíochtaí bainistíochta agus pleanála punainne ar fud phunann iomlán Uisce Éireann lena n-áirítear rialachas agus rialú, tuairisciú ar fheidhmíocht, anailísiú punainne agus riosca, sláine sonraí agus barrfheabhsú punainne. Tá an fhoireann freagrach as gníomhaíochtaí pleanála punainne a bhainistiú ar fud phunann iomlán Uisce Éireann, lena n-áirítear bainistíocht riosca chun a chinntiú go ndéantar an Plean Infheistíochta Caipitiúla (PIC) a sholáthar. Beidh an fhoireann freagrach freisin as soláthar a phleanáil ar fud punann éagsúil agus ildisciplíneach agus beidh sé riachtanach go n-oibreoidh sí i dtimpeallacht foirne atá cruthaitheach agus comhoibritheach chun tacú le forbairt agus le soláthar an PIC.
Agus é/í freagrach don Bhainisteoir Sinsearach Feidhmíochta Punainne, tá an Bainisteoir Feidhmíochta Punainne freagrach as gníomhaíochtaí bainistíochta agus pleanála punainne ar fud phunann iomlán an tSoláthair Bonneagair agus d’fhéadfadh barrfheabhsú agus anailísiú punainne, rialachas agus bainistíocht riosca, anailísiú ar fheidhmíocht conraitheoirí, agus tuairisciú ar fheidhmíocht a bheith san áireamh leo.

Bheith i gceannas ar phlean soláthair punainne a fhorbairt agus a bharrfheabhsú chun a chinntiú go gcuirtear na tionscadail infheistíochta straitéisí laistigh de phunann an tSoláthair Bonneagair i gcrích.
An próiseas a chur chun cinn le haghaidh faisnéis bhainistíochta a tháirgeadh i dtaca leis an bpunann d’fhonn cinnteoireacht réamhghníomhach agus straitéiseach a chumasú.

An bailíochtú punainne caipitiúla a chur i gcrích ar thionscadail chaipitiúla uile maidir leis an straitéis ghnó, infheistíocht agus pleananna caipitiúla agus ceangaltais rialála agus nasc á dhéanamh le príomhfhoirne thar Infheistíochtaí Sócmhainní, Airgeadas agus Pleanáil Sócmhainní.

Tuarascálacha rialta ar stádas a fhorbairt ar chláir chaipitiúla ar fud an tSoláthair Bonneagair, agus dul chun cinn i gcoinne pleananna a shainaithint mar aon le luach tuillte de réir na riachtanas rialachais ar gach leibhéal cuí suas le leibhéal an Bhoird.
Rioscaí don phunann agus fadhbanna a théann i bhfeidhm ar sholáthar na punainne a lua agus a ardú de réir mar is cuí.

The Role: The Portfolio team supports the effective management of the delivery of the IDD investment programme by ensuring governance and control through data management and systems, processes and performance reporting and analysis including the management of planning, land and wayleave, utility, and statutory consents. This enables efficient delivery of the investment programme by providing programme visibility, informed risk management, analysis, challenge, and decision making. The team also; provides expert support in key areas that enable effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of the IDD investment portfolio.
The Portfolio Management team is responsible for portfolio management and planning activities across the Uisce Éireann portfolio that includes governance and control, performance reporting, portfolio and risk analysis, data integrity and portfolio optimization. The team are responsible for managing portfolio planning activities across the Uisce Éireann portfolio, including risk management to ensure delivery of the Capital Investment Plan (CIP). The team will also be responsible for delivery planning across a diverse and multi-disciplined portfolio and will need to work in a creative and collaborative team environment to support the development and delivery of the CIP.
Reporting to the Portfolio Performance Senior Manager, the Portfolio Performance Manager is responsible for portfolio management and planning activities across the entire infrastructure Delivery portfolio that may include portfolio optimization and analysis, governance and risk management, contractor performance analysis, and performance reporting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimisation of a portfolio delivery plan to ensure delivery of the strategic investment projects within the Infrastructure Delivery portfolio
Drive the process for the production of management information on the portfolio to enable proactive and strategic decision making
Measure the progress of delivery of the portfolio against agreed baseline plans
Delver the capital portfolio validation of all capital projects with respect to business strategy, investment and capital plans and regulatory commitments linking with key teams across Asset Investments, Finance and Asset Planning
Lead the performance reporting capability and reliability across the delivery portfolio, challenging across the delivery portfolio as required
Responsible for developing a consistent approach to monitoring and managing contractor performance across Infrastructure Delivery
Responsible for reviewing and analysing contractor performance across Infrastructure Delivery, and reporting outputs as required
Develop regular status reports on capital programmes across Infrastructure Delivery, identifying progress against plans and earned value per the governance requirements to all appropriate levels up to Board level.
Raise and escalate portfolio risks and issues affecting portfolio delivery as appropriate
Drive the development and maintenance of processes and controls to facilitate and optimise capital project execution relative to scope, schedule, budget to deliver the required outcomes
Deliver the development and implementation of the portfolio change control and governance strategy ensuring key updates are flagged in a timely manner to Asset Management
Ensure that appropriate levels of governance and controls are implemented within the delivery portfolio, to ensure compliance of Infrastructure Delivery and required governance procedures
Manage the coordination, submission and policies of investment and contract approval submissions through the Uisce Éireann, the Uisce Éireann Board, New Era and Ministerial approval
Responsible for the application of the corporate risk methodology and tools to the portfolio of capital project and provide the required regulatory and risk reporting requirements per the defines governance requirements
Manage the short, medium and long-term risk analysis approach to ensure consistency and best practice across the entire portfolio
Lead, in conjunction with the portfolio delivery teams, strategic planning, optimisation and coordination of the portfolio including approvals and governance
Driving an adaptable and flexible approach to change, innovation, and continuous improvement in the team, leading by example and ensuring all team members understand the role that they play in delivering change

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable
A minimum of 7 years’ Experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience
Demonstrated leadership ability, proactive development, motivation, and engagement of staff
Experience managing a large team with strong people, change management and conflict resolution skills
Experience of developing and maintaining effective strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
Proven track record with dealing with complex issues proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate complex information to others
Experience of supporting policies, systems and controls and driving the implementation of progressive policies
You will have a proven track record in leadership, change and transformation experience ideally in a similar utility, regulated industry or multi stakeholder environment
Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions and ambiguity generating effective and pragmatic solution to new situations and problems as they arise
