Manufacturing Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Abbott's state-of-the-art facility in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for equipment used in the manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment.
* Monitor machine output on the shift to ensure all cells are running to cycle time, meeting specific targets.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Install and validate equipment.
2. Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults.
3. Perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
4. Lead on maintenance and/or process issues.
5. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
6. Certify and train manufacturing associates in production processes.
7. Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
Team and Reporting
You will report to a Process Engineering Manager on a team of approximately 20, including process engineers and manufacturing technicians.
Requirements
* A minimum Level 6 qualification (Trade or Third-level equivalent).
* Desirable: Electrical and mechanical skills, technical and fault-finding skills.
