Our client’s Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) provides exceptional, family-centered care to children with disabilities. We work collaboratively to help children reach their fullest potential across all areas of development.
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our CDNT. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering therapeutic interventions to children with physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop individualized care plans that promote the child’s independence, participation, and overall well-being.
Positions Available:
* Staff Grade Occupational Therapist: Ideal for newly qualified or early-career therapists looking to build expertise in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
* Senior Grade Occupational Therapist: Suited for experienced therapists ready to take on a leadership role, guiding assessments, interventions, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment & Intervention: Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans to address children’s physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
* Family Collaboration: Engage with families to provide education and strategies for home and community settings.
* Team Integration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all assessments and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
* Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration: Full registration with CORU
* Experience:
o Staff Grade: Open to newly qualified therapists.
o Senior Grade: Requires significant experience working with children with disabilities, with leadership skills preferred.
