Litigation Legal Secretary | Dublin | 35-40K
My Client is looking for a Legal Secretary for a busy Dublin 2 Solicitor’s firm to provide support and general administrative assistance to the litigation fee earners teams.
This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive Law Firm. Prior experience in a busy and demanding Legal Secretary role is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
1. Transcribing dictation;
2. Dictaphone;
3. Filing and Archiving;
4. Sorting, Scanning, Filing & general administrative support;
5. Diary management and arranging meetings;
6. Maintaining calendars;
7. Monitoring Trial dates and call over lists;
8. Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents;
9. Collecting information and preparing legal documents for the Law Clerk;
10. Corresponding with Clients, Experts, Counsel, Solicitors and Witnesses;
11. Preparing Declarations, Contracts and formatting legal documents;
12. Billing and cheque requisitioning;
13. Other ad hoc activities as required.
The successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
1. Prior experience in litigation;
2. Excellent organizational skills;
3. Strong attention to detail;
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines;
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Case management system would be a distinct advantage.
