Orange Recruitment is seeking experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapists who will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention (including Assessment of Need), clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to children, adolescents and adults.

Duties:
Clinical Practice:
Provide specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for individuals with complex needs.
Develop, implement, and review personalized therapy plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including speech and language therapy interventions for speech, language, swallowing, and voice disorders.
Offer advice and education to patients, families, and caregivers to support rehabilitation and management of progress.
Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to deliver integrated care.
Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise and mentor junior Speech and Language Therapists, Speech Therapy Assistants, and students.
Provide clinical guidance, case reports, and support for new staff to enhance their professional development.
Lead and participate in clinical team meetings, service audits, and other professional forums to enhance service delivery.
Service Development & Improvement:
Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy programmes and initiatives to improve service quality.
Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement projects to drive evidence-based practice and service excellence.
Collaborate with other senior clinicians to plan, develop, and evaluate services in line with organisational objectives and patient needs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with service guidelines and professional standards.
Ensure that therapy plans, progress notes, and reports are regularly updated.
Contribute to data collection and reporting for performance reviews and service evaluation.
Requirements:
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Have 3 years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the hiring organisation.
Be eligible to work in the state.
3 years recent relevant post qualification experience.
Post graduate training and experience in Management of FEDS Disorders.
Relevant post graduate training specific to years.
Experience in conducting Assessment of Need.
Relevant training and experience in the assessment and intervention of children with autism.
Experience and/or training in clinical supervision (includes a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience of working with children with a range of disabilities / developmental delay and their families.)
Valid driving license for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transport in order to deliver services across a large geographical area.
