About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in Limerick. You will play a key role in designing cutting-edge surgical devices and pumps for end-of-life care.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead circuit-level hardware design, component selection, and system integration.
* Oversee PCB development, including schematic entry, board layout, and EMC compliance.
* Work closely with software, mechanical, and system engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
* Develop firmware for embedded systems using I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN protocols.
* Ensure compliance with IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and other industry standards.
* Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations using FMEA tools.
* Support technical design reviews, prototyping, and system testing.
* Mentor and provide guidance to two Junior Engineers.
What We Need
* 5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design (analog design is essential).
* Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
* Strong expertise in microprocessor-based design, power management, and EMC testing.
* Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout tools, and LabVIEW.
* Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC converters, cable harnesses, and sensor interfaces.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solving technical challenges with a hands-on approach.
