HR Administrator - County Cavan
This is an exciting entry-level role in HR, involving administrative support across the entire organisation to ensure smooth daily operations.
The Role & Purpose:
This dynamic position enables you to learn and grow within a busy HR department, supporting various processes throughout our operations.
You will contribute to delivering exceptional experiences for applicants and employees by coordinating and administering HR procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
* Employee Relations: Prepare letters of communication to employees, adhering to company values, policies, and procedures.
* Note-taking: Take accurate minutes in meetings.
* Performance Management: Support managers in conducting reviews, probations, and performance discussions according to company policy.
* Leave Management: Update and maintain leave trackers daily to help production teams manage absence levels effectively.
* Time and Attendance: Monitor compliance with time and attendance regulations.
* Reward and Recognition: Assist with implementing reward and recognition programs.
* Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle: Support the business in recruiting key resources, including CV screening, scheduling, interview assistance, and reference checks.
* Onboarding: Manage onboarding processes for new recruits.
* Systems & Administration: Manage leave entitlements, including sick leave, holidays, maternity, paternity, and parental leave.
* Payroll Administration: Assist with weekly payroll administration to ensure accurate payroll runs with minimal queries.
* File Management: Maintain staff and employee files in compliance with data protection legislation.
* General HR Support: Provide general HR administration support as needed.
* Occupational Health & Wellbeing: Organise weekly on-site occupational health appointments and support wellbeing programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of HR administration or equivalent experience.
* 3rd level qualification in Human Resources or CIPD certification.
* Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook).
* High standards of accuracy and close attention to detail.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
* Experience in a fast-paced working environment.
