Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive direct-to-consumer (DTC) and in-store sales while leading and managing a team of three sales representatives.
The role involves overseeing the performance of our sales operations across our display rooms on the Naas Road and our outlet in Northern Ireland, ensuring revenue growth and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to grow direct-to-consumer and in-store sales.
Manage sales performance across multiple locations, ensuring sales targets are met.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive customer engagement and increase footfall at display locations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth.
Develop partnerships with relevant third parties, such as retailers, developers, and home improvement stores, to expand sales channels.
Team Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of x amount?
sales representatives, setting clear sales targets and performance objectives.
Provide regular training and coaching to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
Conduct weekly sales meetings to track progress, address challenges, and align on business objectives.
Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and achieving revenue goals.
Operations & Sales Performance Oversee the sales process at our Naas Road display rooms and Northern Ireland outlet, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability for customers.
Ensure that all customer inquiries and sales leads are handled promptly and effectively.
Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Key Requirements Experience & Skills Proven experience in sales management, preferably in retail, home improvement, or outdoor products industries.
Strong track record in direct-to-consumer (DTC) and in-store sales.
Experience managing and leading a sales team, with the ability to drive performance and motivation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
Technical & Operational Skills Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Comfortable working with e-commerce and digital marketing teams to drive online sales.
Strong reporting and analytical skills to track sales performance and business growth.
Desirable Qualities Experience in retail display management or showroom sales.
Background in the construction, garden, or outdoor products industry is an advantage.
Familiarity with the Irish and Northern Ireland retail markets.
