The key KPI for this role is increasinfg sales through traditional marketing endeavours Job Purpose The Marketing Manager will drive innovative strategies to increase footfall, enhance the in-store shopping experience, and grow sales across our retail locations. This role bridges strategic vision and hands-on execution, working with store teams, regional managers, and the central marketing department to deliver impactful results. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement localized marketing strategies to boost footfall and sales. Identify opportunities for in-store promotions, events, and activations that align with brand objectives. Lead campaigns that leverage both traditional and digital marketing to attract target audiences. Store Engagement & Improvement Regularly visit retail stores to collaborate with store managers, assess marketing effectiveness, and identify areas for enhancement. Provide actionable insights to improve store layout, visual merchandising, and the customer journey. Market Research & Analysis Conduct competitor analysis to understand market trends and customer behaviour. Monitor campaign performance using data analytics, making adjustments as needed to optimize ROI. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with the digital and social marketing teams to integrate store campaigns with broader brand initiatives. Partner with the PR team to promote in-store events and drive media coverage. Budget Management Oversee budgets for local store marketing campaigns, ensuring cost efficiency while maximizing impact. Report on spending and campaign success to the Head of Marketing. Training & Communication Train store managers and staff on marketing best practices and upcoming campaigns. Act as a key communicator, ensuring alignment between head office and store operations. Team Management Leading and motivating a team of traditional marketing professionals. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 3-5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in retail or FMCG sectors. Proven track record of creating and delivering successful in-store campaigns. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams. Analytical mindset and experience using tools like Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and POS systems. Team management experience. Key Competencies Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
