Position Summary:
This position supports the execution and implementation of global planning of APIs and RSMs to meet requirements of internal and external manufacturers to support Zoetis business operations.
Position Responsibilities
1. Capture long term global demand forecasts using systems and processes for products and markets. Ad-hoc system, process and reports may be used depending on business requirements, e.g., scenario planning, site allocations.
2. Convert demand forecasts into delivery forecasts in accordance with supply agreements and communicate to internal and external GMS planning teams via established S&OP process.
3. Monitor current and projected inventory of APIs and RSMs at internal and external manufacturers to detect and avoid potential material shortage and/or obsolescence, by identifying significant forecast changes and recommend appropriate actions.
4. Co-lead forecast meetings with sites to ensure forecasts remain aligned and identify any new demand (consumption) changes since previous cycle, escalating through appropriate channels.
5. Participate in supplier VPT meetings as required.
6. Support S&OP deck creation with escalations and actions from monthly forecast meetings.
7. Contribute in and assist with information gathering for supplier ORM/BRM’s when required.
8. Support budget & quarterly LE inputs and reviews with GMSP to ensure global demand forecasts remain aligned to the changing business needs and any business-critical changes communicated accordingly.
Education and Experience
9. Bachelor of Science in supply chain management, logistics or materials management preferable.
Experience:
10. 3-5 years in Supply Chain Planning.
11. Knowledge of supply chain processes and systems for sourcing drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
