Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Location: Clonmel, Ireland
Working Pattern: Friday from 6 PM to 11:30 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To assist in providing an efficient and effective cleaning service per contractual obligations and company policy and standards. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on the ground. Be responsible for the Cleaning operatives. Liaise closely and professionally with the Client/Client representatives in daily operational matters.
* Ensures the smooth running of the site, adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification
* Supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided at the client sites and assist the Cleaning Manager
* Assist the Cleaning Manager in supervising the cleaning service staff, including allocating workloads, monitoring progress and performance, determining work priorities, and paying particular attention to productivity and quality control.
* Assist in the undertaking of site cleaning audits
* Control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materials
* Control and monitor the use of cleaning equipment, arrange the repair or renewal of equipment, and make recommendations to the Cleaning Manager
* Carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as required
* Arrange/carry out the induction and 'on the job' training of the cleaning staff following relevant Apleona company practices
* Undertake, in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager, the recruitment of cleaning employees by relevant Apleona company practices
* Organize the provision of relief/holiday cover for cleaning staff as required in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager
* Authorize, allocate, and record in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager cleaning staff absences
* Perform ad-hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Manager
Qualifications and Experience
* Must have excellent organizational and management skills
* Be an efficient motivator and leader with good problem-solving skills
* Flexibility required for the role
* Excellent computer literacy is essential for administrative purposes
* Experience in using cleaning equipment.
