Adult Support Worker - Band 3
We are seeking Adult Support Workers to join our Supported Living Team, providing direct care and support to adults with learning disabilities in their own homes using a person-centred approach.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care (toileting, feeding, bathing, etc.)
* Administer medication and manage behaviours of concern
* Support service users in developing social, health, and leisure activities
* Promote effective communication with families and advocates
* Complete care plans, risk assessments, and reviews
* Participate in training, team meetings, and supervision
Essential Criteria:
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Care or 1 year of experience in a care role
* Registered with NISCC (or willing to register)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (unless exempt)
* Willing to train in MAPA (Managing Aggression and Potential Aggression)
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
* Knowledge of adult safeguarding and RQIA standards
