Job Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the manufacturing process meets regulatory and customer requirements. This exciting opportunity is suitable for an individual with 1-2 years of industry experience.
About the Role
This fixed-term contract, spanning 12 months, requires the QC Technician to work closely with production teams, process engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and report on technical and quality metrics to ensure products meet regulatory and customer standards.
* Conduct quality assurance checks for incoming raw materials to finished products, monitoring production processes to adhere to quality standards and providing feedback to production teams.
* Work with cross-functional teams across departments driving performance excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support R&D and innovation projects, planning, testing, and reporting.
* Document noncompliance and ensure recorded compliance issues are resolved and corrected.
* Assist with technical administration functions via Q-Pulse as required.
* Apply 6 S principles to all work areas and equipment.
* Support environmental department with water sample monitoring and testing across the site.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in a relevant science or engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
* A strong track record of teamwork in quality control is essential.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work independently.
* Demonstrate excellent IT skills.
* Creativity, flexibility, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
