In this role, you will:
The role of a Managing Auditor is to support the Service Delivery Director with the management of assigned employed Field Team Auditors and support the SDD and other Managing Auditors in the management of the Employed Field Team, Subcontractor Audit Team, and Amtivo Academy to support the achievement of the annual and rolling quarterly budget.
Candidates must possess a good work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, as well as being proficient time-managers and genuine team players.
Responsibilities include:
* Support the SDD in the planning of field and subcontractor audit moderations, ensuring business and individual team member objectives are met, including new employees.
* Support the SDD in the planning of periodic reviews of the employed Field Team to ensure business and individual goals are met.
* Plan the delivery of field-based training for employed and subcontract field audit team, to ensure the business has the capabilities to deliver against its budget.
* Delivery of internal audits against ISO 17021 in line with the 3-year requirement from INAB & UKAS.
* Delivery of Field Audits, to include Stage One, Stage 2, Surveillance, and Re-certification audits as determined by the business ensuring they are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and the business expectations (these are expected to reduce to 20% for 2025).
* Deliver Field Team and Subcontract Team audit moderations and Moderation schedule to support the ongoing development of the employed Field Team, Amtivo Academy, and the Subcontractor Team ensuring the business has the capabilities to deliver against its budget.
* Supporting the SDD in the delivery of regular Appraisals and CPD reviews with employed Field Team. Establishing further training requirements and reporting back to the SDD as required.
* Support the Customer Services Account Managers with competent auditors in the delivery of Audits against the company targets.
* Support Compliance on witnessed assessments where required.
* Identify Field Team members for uplift of NACE codes & standards.
* Delivery of rolling moderations programme in line with INAB & UKAS requirements.
* Periodically review the performance of the field team and provide feedback to the SDD raising any concerns or issues to ensure risks are mitigated and identify opportunities for improvement.
Our Ideal Person:
* A minimum of years lead auditor experience for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 27001.
* Management experience preferred.
* High levels of integrity to ensure that audit quality and service is consistently outstanding.
* Professional, and highly motivated to deliver results.
* Coaching of others and the ability to encourage open and honest dialogue about individual and team capability.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking, prioritising skills and attention to detail.

* To hold a passion for excellent customer service.
* Ability to travel extensively - Must hold a valid UK driving license.
