We are currently seeking a full-time Care Supervisor for South Dublin. This is a permanent full-time position and is a new position to join our growing team. Core working hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Fri. To be successful in this role, you will occasionally be required to work some evenings and weekends.
This is a community-based role and a full clean driving licence and access to a car are essential as this role requires travel. We are seeking applicants with 1 year of previous experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
The Role:
* Be responsible for your own dedicated geographical region of South Dublin.
* Manage all aspects of your clients' care.
* Carry out duties such as service reviews, updating care plans, and conducting risk assessments.
* Ensure we are delivering the highest quality standard of care to our clients.
* Provide ongoing support to our care team through supervision, competency reviews, and staff engagement.
* Work closely with the scheduling team regarding capacity in each area.
* Work on your own initiative and report to the Care Manager.
Requirements:
* 1 year's previous experience in a supervisory role in home care/healthcare setting required.
* Full clean driving licence with access to your own car.
* QQI Level 5 (Major Award) in a Healthcare-related field or equivalent. QQI Level 6 is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy office environment.
* Superb organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and multi-task.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal skills in addition to the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Fluent English speaker and permission to work full time in Ireland.
