Eviosys is a new company, formed when KPS Capital Partners acquired the EMEA food and consumer packaging business of Crown Holdings Inc.
Eviosys has 6,300 employees in 44 manufacturing facilities across 17 countries and is Europes largest manufacturer of steel and aluminum food packaging.
The Irish Eviosys plant is located inAthy, Co. Kildarewhere they specialise in producing high-quality metal packaging for the infant formula and clinical nutrition markets.
The purpose of theMaintenance Managerrole is to manage, lead and motivate the Engineering team, to ensure the plant is the leading VSP plant in our delivery of top quality and efficient can production.
The role of the Engineering Manager will also be to support a safe manufacturing process while engaging closely with the production and quality teams.
This role is available as a6-month FTC.
Job Responsibilities:
To provide technical engineering leadership in product and process matters.
To plan and schedule all engineering work, ensuring continual prioritisation and re-prioritisation of work and activities, fostering a proactive culture within the team, while remaining reactive and supportive of adaptability.
Implement robust systems to enhance the reliability of manufacturing processes, participating in the continuous development of systems, including the revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs), scheduling, and workflow development.
Establish an effective engineering and maintenance management system (COSWIN), following best practices to achieve organisational objectives.
Lead projects to drive continuous improvement in key metrics in alignment with Lean, 6 Sigma, Design Robustness, and Problem-Solving Principles Ensure that engineering & safety standards, including all electrical standards, are maintained to legal and company standards.
Management and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment in line with industry standards and requirements, and in line with customer needs.
Manage the engineering team, leading with effective people and performance management and a focus on development and motivation. Deliver a safe manufacturing environment by ensuring thorough process adherence and safety awareness and focus. To engage in forecasting and budget activities continuously, delivering key information and inputs, and completing all required financial responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 Years Experience in a Maintenance Manager role within a Manfacturing Envrionment and experience in People Management is essential.
KPI-driven and Results Focused. Minimum Third Level Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in planning, and problem solving, with knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and delivery of same. Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management experience is essential. *Full Spec on Application
