Role Purpose
As a Document Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our multi-disciplined engineering and construction team. You’ll be a key contributor to the company’s reputation for operational excellence across various sectors, providing world-class service while supporting project delivery. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the successful management and control of project data to ensure seamless project delivery. You will work closely with the project manager and a high-performance team, handling essential documentation and communication processes:
* Data & Document Management: Control and coordinate project activities and data, ensuring all records are correctly created, stored, and maintained.
* Drawing Management: Maintain a comprehensive site drawing register, manage superseded drawings, and ensure the FTP server is continuously updated with the latest information.
* RFI & Design Queries: Log and track all outgoing Requests for Information (RFI) and design team queries, and manage responses.
* Meeting & Communication Support: Record and distribute site meeting minutes and keep design change logs up-to-date.
* Information Accessibility: Ensure the smooth flow of project information for all site staff and subcontractors, updating live drawings, specifications, and schedules as new information becomes available.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with GDPR and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) standards, and assist in building regulation checks.
Requirements
* Experience: Ideally, 3+ years in a similar document control role within engineering, pharmaceutical or building services.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with document management software, and an understanding of FTP and inbound call handling systems.
* Attention to Detail: High organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple documentation workflows efficiently.
