Duties and Responsibilities
* Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the Approved Atlantic Aviation Group Policy documents as amended, including related supporting process documents with specific focus on the compliance monitoring policies and procedures.
* Preparation and performance of audits and audit checklists, including remote subcontractor and contracted MRO facilities to satisfy the AAG regulatory compliance oversight requirements and accepting appropriate corrective actions and preventative countermeasures to address compliance and improvement opportunities.
* Participate in the Company Certifying, support and authorized staff authorization activities, including related administrative functions.
* Preparation and submission of mandatory and non-mandatory occurrence reports.
* Liaising with Regulatory authorities and the Customers’ audit personnel during visits to and audits of the AAG facilities ensure reports, incidents, and actions are coordinated.
* Conducting incident investigations and compilation of incident investigation reports.
* Present audit and incident investigation reports to the appropriate stakeholders.
* Participate in Safety Action Group activities.
* Compile and circulate lessons learned notifications.
* Addressing feedback issues from employees to assure ongoing compliance and to reflect Continuous Improvement activity in our Company.
* Maintaining currency with internal policy, process and regulatory changes.
* Support the SMS system through report feedback, audit, analysis and risk assessment.
* Engage with and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Take full responsibility and ownership of their assigned work, ensuring department KPIs are met.
* Other duties assigned by compliance and safety management.
Essential Job Functions
* Models and promotes an organizational culture that fosters safety & regulatory compliance practices.
* Participation in Quality Team activities to assure compliance with the standards and requirements of EASA Aviation legislation, Customer requirements and other relevant National Aviation Authorities.
* Obtains and records evidence during the conduct of compliance monitoring activities that provides and articulates information regarding risk and compliance/non-compliance issues within the organization.
* Investigative and PPS/root cause approach for NCRs, events and occurrences to ensure structural fix is secured and implemented.
* Process management.
* Effectively utilize applicable processes and procedures to fulfil roles and responsibilities.
* Measure and participate in opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
Candidate Requirements
* Non- EU/EAA nationals require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
* A bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft systems, aviation management Quality Assurance, or a similar/relevant subject.
* Previous experience in an Airline/Independent CAMO/MRO/Design organisation is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of EASA regulations desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and as a team member while remaining confident and assertive ensuring effective independent monitoring.
* Possess excellent time and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Possess excellent report writing skills.
* Possess good computer literacy.
* Be willing to travel to meet training and audit requirements.
Typical Working Conditions
* Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.
* Work is performed at the AAG Hangar & line facilities and at additional locations subject to oversight.
* PPE is provided by AAG and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.
* Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.
