Opportunity to join a well-established international hi-vol manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine fault finding, repair, and problem-solving.
2. Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance.
3. Continuous improvement throughout the plant.
4. Welding/fabrication maintenance.
5. Perform repairs of all buildings and equipment.
6. Perform preventive maintenance procedures on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect, check, and replace e.g. bearings, seals, etc.
7. Inspect boiler; treat water with proper chemicals.
8. Calibrate and repair pneumatic systems.
Experience
Ideally, 2 years plus post-apprenticeship experience and willing to work a 4-cycle shift.
Mechanical fitter apprenticeship qualifications (MAMF) – necessity (machine shop experience).
Computer literacy; CMM, Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage.
