Job DescriptionBallymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for a Reservations Agent to join the Team. The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel.
It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.Main duties and responsibilities:To answer reservation calls in a timely and courteous manner and to respond to email enquiriesTo inform other departments of VIP arrivals and special requirementsTo record and process deposit informationTo use upselling techniques and promote hotel facilitiesTo record reservation information accurately; to identify and record group and transient business segmentation codesTo make bookings for F&B outlets during the reservation processTo complete the no show report form the evening before ensuring the revenue is recorded on the daily no show report and the charges correctly charged to credit cardsTo ensure that the rooming lists and booking details are accurate prior to guests arrivalAbout The RoleRequirements:Fluent English and excellent communication and written skillsPrevious experience working with a reservations system is desirablePrevious experience as hotel receptionist or reservations agent is essentialEmployee Benefits:Meals on dutyRefer a Friend ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Recognition AwardsTeam Member Accommodation & F&B discounts in Windward Management propertiesComplimentary parkingReferences:All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory reference About Windward ManagementBallymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
