The Vacancy
Our dedicated Measured Surveys team have a unique opportunity to join them to assist in the delivery of all aspects of measured surveying including measured building surveys, topographical surveys, legal mapping and area referencing projects. Based out of our Dublin office, you will be expected to travel pan-Ireland for survey work and occasionally be required to assist our UK and European measured survey teams.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a willingness to learn, develop and take ownership of projects. The right candidate will quickly establish themselves as a key part of this service within Hollis.
It’s a fast-paced role, but with Hollis’ structured career development plan you will be fully supported to achieve the full potential this role has to offer. You will have the opportunity to become a specialist within a niche area of surveying and learn from our market leading industry experts.
Daily duties:
1. Assist with fieldwork including measured building surveys, topographical surveys and area referencing surveys.
2. Work closely with project leads to project manage instructions from conception to completion. You’ll learn how to become an effective project lead and how to manage key project areas including fee quoting, invoicing, data collection and processing and client care.
3. Utilise equipment and up-to-date technology to support with carrying out precise surveys.
4. Learn and support the full-scale process of measurement surveys including initial client engagement, site visits, reports and drawing production, and general project administration.
5. Collaborate with Hollis’ internal teams to support with expert delivery of project work, manage client communications & BD, and support with growth of the service.
What we’re looking for:
1. At least 6 months+ experience in a measurement surveying role, recent graduates also considered.
2. Proactive, willing to work under own initiative and collaborate with the wider team.
3. Good understanding of practical (or theory) technical skills, both on site techniques and desk based processing.
4. Passionate about your professional development and potential for progression.
5. Full and valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
