Job Description
T&M Associates is looking for an entry-level Environmental Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role will involve leading field tasks and assisting project engineers and managers with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance and remediation projects. These projects will focus on the design of groundwater treatment systems and infrastructure, and you will collaborate with a skilled team of civil, environmental, automation, electrical, and structural engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Project Managers and Senior Engineers with planning and designing Water Resource and Environmental projects
* Lead planning efforts by conducting analyses and calculations, creating figures and tables, and preparing technical reports
* Support design activities by planning, overseeing, and creating detailed drawings and technical specifications, along with performing necessary design calculations
* Participate in or oversee field data collection to support environmental evaluations and designs
* Spend short durations working in the field or at project sites
* Provide engineering support during construction and/or assist with construction oversight
* Communicate effectively with team members and manage your workload efficiently
* Apply quality assurance and control processes
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
* 0-3 years of related experience, including familiarity with remediation systems, pumping & well infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment
* EIT (Engineer in Training)
* Prior experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS is a plus
* Current 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
