Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Aviva's Payroll team in the Cherrywood office for a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be running our weekly and monthly payrolls, liaising with customers and brokers on payroll related queries and working closely with our ARFs and Annuities team to ensure timely payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payments through the Megapay payroll system
* Review and check payments ready for import to ensure accuracy
* Verify tax details are correct and compliant with PAYE Modernisation
* Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure payments are made to the correct payees and bank accounts
* Update customer details as necessary to ensure payroll matches back systems
* Process Imputed Distribution payroll accurately and on time
Requirements:
* Prior experience in payroll processing is essential
* Familiarity with ARF and Annuities is beneficial
* Strong working knowledge of Excel is advantageous
* Deep understanding of tax implications and ability to work under pressure
* Familiarity with Imputed Distribution
