Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist
Location: Waterford Contract: Fulltime, Permanent, 35 hours per week across 4 days.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist to join our team at a leading Cancer Centre in Waterford. As a Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and accurate delivery of radiation treatment to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of Radiation Therapists, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.
* Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to develop, review, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Maintain strict adherence to departmental protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal treatment outcomes.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback, training, and support to ensure continued professional growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Must hold a recognised qualification in Radiation Therapy.
* Must hold current CORU registration.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
