We are seeking a Sales Manager for a top company based in Ireland and the UK. This role is to manage a team of 10 business developers and can be based hybrid in West Dublin or the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a team of 10 business developers
2. Lead the tender process
3. Drive adoption and utilisation of CRM, including establishment of metrics and reports to highlight adoption and utilisation performance.
4. Additional sales operations project support to be defined in close collaboration with wider team
5. Create, develop and manage sales targets and pipeline to identify current and future tender opportunities
6. Identify and engage new potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
7. Monitor competitor activity and market conditions reporting key activity, developments, and issues as necessary
8. Develop and articulate an effective tender toolkit.
9. Tender Management: management and preparation inclusive of delegation of tasks ensuring the quality of each submission is of the highest standard
10. Set and monitor sales KPIs for Business Development Executives & Business Development Managers
Expertise
1. Minimum 5-years experience in a Sales Operations / or Sales leadership role.
2. Demonstrable experience in delivering complex tenders a distinct advantage
3. CRM experience is an advantage but is not a pre-requisite.
4. Water, Waste or sustainability industry experience is an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite
