Fully Accredited Wellness Psychotherapist Required (No Masters required)
Unique opportunity for fully accredited counsellors and psychotherapists to join our corporate well-being team, providing one-to-one wellness check-ins, mental health support, and group psychoeducation.
This role will enable fully accredited counsellors and psychotherapists to provide a valuable and rewarding wellness service to individuals while learning business management skills, note-taking skills, crisis intervention techniques, and working alongside highly experienced clinicians. Hours days and times are flexible to suite to your requirements.
Specific Job Details:
Working Hours: Flexible to suit your requirements (7.00 am - 11.00 pm)
Contract: None
Working Pattern: Monday - Sunday (Flexible)
Commencement Date: As soon as possible
Salary Range: Competitive
Location: Dublin (3 locations: Sandyford, East Wall, and Leopardstown
The key responsibilities can include:
Working in a general consultative capacity within a corporate setting using a preventative, psychoeducational approach with individual workers, as well as groups of workers
Innovating and contributing to the development of services to promote the psychological well-being of all service users
Communicating effectively and working with team members and others
Working within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance
Being aware of, and referring clients to evidence-based cooperation and appropriate services as necessary
Keeping up to date with the CPD related to clinical work
Writing and maintaining clear client case notes, post-qualification reports and collecting statistics in line with company policy
Using a client management system to manage client appointments
Part of the job role may involve drafting articles post-qualification will be used for content on the Spectrum Mental Health website and other marketing collateral
What experience and qualifications do I need?
Recognised qualification in psychotherapy, preferably with based to evidence-based experience, working therapeutically with individual adults
Fully Accredited member with either IACP, IICP, IAHIP or ICP or other recognized post qualification experience
Current professional indemnity insurance
Excellent administration and organisational skills
Proficient with Technology/IT or willingness to learn
Flexibility and adaptability with an ability to work within work environments and services that are changing, growing and evolving
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with an openness to sharing ideas and learning from others
Fluent English Level B2 Advanced required
Flexible attitude to changing work practices
What competencies are especially desirable?
Experience running groups and/or giving presentations
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience managing people
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills
