Define Demand Planning strategy & Operations
Feed and support Demand Planning Strategy development
Responsible for demand forecast accuracy, bias and forecast value add (FVA) performance to define the best fit demand planning strategy
Drive continuous improvement of SC processes for GRT & Customer
Coordinate, handle and sustain relationship and collaboration with local suppliers (where applicable)
Generate statistical forecast
Manage demand history cleansing and exceptions
Define portfolio segmentation (ABC-XYZ) based on defined demand planning strategy
Apply statistical models and parameters for forecasting
Add market intelligence
Track assumptions and manage risk & opportunities
Gather, understand and leverage market intelligence, customer forecast, promotional activity, seasonality and other external factors to feed S&OP/ IBP process
Single point of contact for supply chain related topics and close collaboration with relevant stakeholders incl. commercial and finance
Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis and market dynamics
Partner with Supply teams to anticipate risks and opportunities
Manage Product Lifecycle
Manage and own demand planning master data including discontinuations, NPI/EOL
Generate forecasts for integrations/NPIs in close collaboration with marketing, sales, finance and operations
Ensure portfolio control and cleansing regarding EOLs
Support Slow Moving & Obsolete Inventory (SLOB) and artwork changes management
Validate demand
Manage volume allocation (where applicable), shortage, stockout risk and communicate to relevant stakeholders in timely manner;
Consolidate the demand plan and define corrective actions based on KPIs
Ensure the right planning maintenance into GRT systems
Own the monthly Demand Review and provide demand inputs to the global IBP process for transparency of risks and opportunities
Provide confidence to IBP stakeholders on Demand Management/Demand Plan
Challenge forecast’ proposal adjustments to reach the most accurate demand plan based and facts and data
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
Education: University Degree (Master preferably) in Engineering or Business with major in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or equivalent experience. Six Sigma, Supply Chain (APICS/IBF) and Project Management are desirable
Minimum of 3 – 5 years related experience in supply chain, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
Profound knowledge of demand planning & IBP tools + SAP SD/MM
Experience in Key Account Management and/or Demand Management / Market Research desirable (e.g., external data such as IQVIA)
Fluent in English (essential) and key cluster language(s)
Proficiency with MS Excel
Very good computer literacy and data analytics skillset, understanding the statistics behind the models and forecasting techniques
Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross functional/ virtual teams where required.
Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.
Strong customer orientation
Ability to influence Director & VP Levels within the organization and in a matrix environment
Ability to apply and support process and tools improvements
Commutable distance to either Maidenhead (UK), Dublin (Ireland) or Copenhagen (Denmark) offices
Please note that the hybrid model for this role is up to 3 days per week in the office.
