Technical Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of R & D Mechatronic development programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead R&D Mechatronic development programs.
* Coordinate and communicate with customers as the main technical interface between R&D and the customer.
* Liaise with functional leads to drive project timeline and ensure R&D Mechatronic planning is in place to meet project milestones.
* Ensure project timeline risks are understood, highlighted, and mitigated.
* Liaise with functional managers to compile R&D costs for RFIs/RFPs.
* Present project updates to peers, colleagues, and management.
* Support other disciplines outside R&D in bringing the project to start of production (SOP).
* Support SOP activities.
Your Profile:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in project management of multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices, or similar environments.
* Experience in dealing with customers with the ability to interpret customer requests with clear communication.
* Fluent in English with clear and confident communication ability.
* Extensive experience in planning projects and using planning tools such as MS Project or similar tools.
* Good knowledge of design validation (DV) and process validation (PV) programs.
