Catalyx is seeking a Training Coordinator to join our team on an initial 6-month contract and work on our customer site in Limerick. The Role:The ideal candidate will have a hands-on understanding of manufacturing or engineering processes, coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills to design, manage and enhance training initiatives. Responsibilities:Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and create tailored training materials that address technical, operational, and process-related needs specific to a manufacturing or engineering environment.Develop engaging content for classroom, hands-on, and online training, including manuals, videos, e-learning modules, and operational guides.Ensure training materials are aligned with organisational goals and sustainability values.Plan and schedule training sessions for employees, clients, and external partners, with a focus on technical and operational skills.Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, venue preparation, and participant enrolment.Facilitate technical training sessions in both individual and group settings, utilising hands-on methods to reinforce learning outcomes.Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and stakeholders to ensure they can apply technical knowledge in real-world settings.Act as the primary contact for training-related queries and troubleshoot training challenges within a manufacturing or engineering context.Assess training programme effectiveness through feedback surveys, skills assessments, and performance metrics.Track training completion and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Continuously improve training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results and feedback.Ensure all training aligns with industry standards, safety regulations, and company compliance policies.Stay updated on industry advancements in manufacturing, engineering, and sustainable technology to enhance training offerings. Requirements:Degree in Training, Engineering, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in technical training or a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Previous experience designing technical training programmes.Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.Proficiency in e-learning platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, or similar).Exceptional organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
