Our client, a multinational IT company, require 3 Technical Support Engineers with 3+ years of experience working in technical support, on a 6-month rolling contract.
This company provide a top-class infrastructural service for the IT industry, offering their services in over 190 countries worldwide.
Working model: Onsite in Dublin 8
Contract: 6-month rolling with potential of going permanent

What will I do as a Technical Support Engineer?
4. Windows and OSX environment support.
5. Support of administrative activities and tasks.
6. Support project work to develop technical solutions (for example rollout).
7. Support Clients in second level support and day by day business.
8. Perform analysis and solutions of incidents in day-by-day business.
9. Report and present progress of project work (effort, status, meetings etc.) to project leads.
10. Desk moves.
11. Managing Hardware for leavers and joiners and providing break fix support (monitors, keyboards, phones, printers).
12. AD admin/PM admin for user accounts.
13. New Laptop build check/installs/rebuild checks.
14. Software installations.
15. Folder Permissions/lockdowns.
16. Mobile Device Configuration.
17. Pitch/Meeting room support (Off and On-site).
18. Hardware incidents (Printers, Laptops, Desktop).
19. Software incidents (O365, Windows 7/10, bespoke applications).
20. LANDesk/Anti-Virus.
Minimum Requirements:
21. 3+ years in technical support.
22. Great knowledge of supporting end users in Windows (Win 7 / 8 / 8.1/10) and Mac environments.
23. Good knowledge of O365 and Adobe software.
24. Good organisation, communication, and incident/request management skills.
25. Mobile device knowledge, BES and ActiveSync, apple, android, blackberry skills.
26. Good communication and customer service skills.
27. Experience in working for a large organisation supporting hundreds of users.
