Job Title: Supply Chain/Logistics GraduateLocation: Silent Aire DublinReports To: Logistics Lead / Purchasing LeadJob Summary: The Supply Chain Graduate will support the logistics and supply chain teams in various projects and tasks. This role is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in these areas.Key Responsibilities:Logistics Support: Assist in coordinating and managing the transportation and distribution of materials and products. Ensure timely delivery and efficient logistics operations.Inventory Management: Help monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. Assist in conducting inventory audits and implementing inventory control measures.Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain performance, logistics costs, and inventory levels. Use data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong supplier relationships.Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to support supply chain and logistics efforts.Technical Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Internship or co-op experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus, but not required.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems).Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.Personal Attributes:Enthusiastic and eager to learn.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.Proactive and self-motivated.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.Working Conditions:Office and manufacturing floor environments.Full-time position with standard working hours.
