Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Offaly, Ireland
Reporting to: Thermal Plant Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Renewable energy assets to achieve maximum plant availability and efficiency, advancing green initiatives in line with the client's strategy.
* Lead the maintenance of power plants and associated support systems, ensuring alignment with Operations teams and meeting defined targets.
* Oversee strategic spare part management, purchasing, and contract management to meet company standards and support operations within agreed budgets.
* Plan and deliver outages safely and on time.
* Implement the Plant Business Management System, coordinating interfaces with trading, biomass supply, regulatory authorities, and accreditation bodies.
* Develop a resource plan for the maintenance team and ensure succession plans are implemented.
* Engage with the team to develop an action plan, promoting good communication, involvement, and teamwork to meet ambitious targets.
* Cultivate a culture of Health and Safety, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work for employees and contractors.
* Coach and mentor the Maintenance team in their development to achieve all aspects of maintenance in Renewable assets.
Requirements:
* BSc in Engineering or related technical discipline.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in large-scale thermal power plant or related heavy industrial maintenance.
* Experience at a middle-management level, with the ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams effectively.
* Excellent people management skills required.
