Graduate Mechanical Engineer
International market leader and manufacturer of air-conditioning and ventilation systems seeks a graduate engineer from a building services or mechanical engineering background.
THE COMPANY:
Our client has been in business for over 50 years and has become a market leader in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems. They manufacture a variety of systems from air handling units, rooftop ventilation, air-cooling, and close control systems, and have completed works in Ireland as well as internationally in a variety of settings, from hospitals to data centres, airports, and manufacturing facilities. As a result of their ongoing success, they seek to add an additional Graduate Engineer to their team in Cork, offering a strong package, a secure work environment, and career opportunities.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be based in the Cork Office and will have the following duties:
1. Support the project teams with all technical activities, during tender, design, and build stages.
2. Receive client specifications and formulate scope of works and designs.
3. Prepare quotations, bids, and technical submittals ensuring compliance with specifications.
4. Assist with planning, scheduling, resourcing, and forecasting all technical activities.
5. Assist with quality, H&S, and O+M documentation.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds:
1. Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, and similar degrees are desirable.
