The Job:
We are currently working alongside a leading food importer and distributor located in Co. Wicklow who are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will sit on the SLT and manage the Logistics, Customer Service and Warehouse departments. This is an excellent opportunity to join the company at a period of considerable growth and to strategically develop their Supply Chain capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the company's growth strategy.
2. Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
3. Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution.
4. Ensure the transport and logistics functions are running efficiently, with timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
5. Develop and implement customer service strategies that enhance the customer experience and contribute to customer retention.
6. Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, including efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction metrics.
7. Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational targets.
