Purpose of Role:
The Inventory Controller is an integral part of the Stock Management & Control Team that manages all inventory across public and private hospitals served by Tekno Surgical. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all stock, including investigating variances, stock rotation, and generating the necessary reports to support decision making and KPIs in line with company processes and SOPs. This role requires regular travel to different sites and working closely with the Stock Management and Sales teams to optimize stock levels.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct stock counts across all hospital locations and reconcile thereafter.
* Maintain accurate data on all stock and investigate all discrepancies.
* Collect, interpret, and analyze data.
* Rotate short-dated stock to higher usage accounts.
* Support the removal of expired stock from accounts.
* Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking.
* Produce and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Support the implementation of hospital consignment agreements.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Experience with ERP Systems is an advantage and Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel required: must have the ability to pivot and manipulate data effectively).
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Ability to communicate effectively and develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills and attention to detail.
* Dedicated customer service attitude.
* Strong commitment to continuous improvement.
* Min 2 years ERP transactions processing experience (NAV is an advantage).
* A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
* Ad hoc duties as required.
