About the Role:
As an Automation Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain automation systems critical to our life sciences operations. Based in Dublin, you’ll work on exciting projects, leveraging your technical expertise to ensure seamless performance and compliance with industry standards. This is an opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, program, and troubleshoot automation systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into life sciences processes.
* Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA) and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
* Perform system upgrades, testing, and validation to optimize performance and reliability.
* Provide technical support and training to operational teams as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field, with a background in life sciences (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices).
* Proven experience programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
* Strong understanding of automation in a regulated environment, ideally within life sciences.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative setting.
* Based in or willing to relocate to Dublin.
