**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Technician to join our global energy company. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment where inventory is purchased and held to support the mechanical and electrical maintenance and development of the process plant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unloading, checking and stocking all materials including both inventory and non-inventory items.
* Preparing materials for issue to Capital Projects, Maintenance and Process teams.
* Reconciling, rechecking and clearing receipt/invoice queries.
* Performing continuous Inventory Stock Checks including entry, recounts and approvals.
* Safe storage and handling of hazardous chemicals, gases and materials and delivering to point of use.
* Operating tool crib and consumable stock and projecting materials through various systems.
* Performing warehouse related duties for Plant Turnaround, Capital Projects and warehouse/inventory improvement initiatives.
* Using Forklift truck for material handling, unloading and delivering to plant.
**Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment where inventory is purchased and held to support the mechanical and electrical maintenance and development of the process plant.
* Forklift certification is essential.
* Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practice.
* Experience in Inventory Management on Oracle (or a similar ERP/Inventory Management system) plus Excel basics for stock control is desirable.
* Chemical Handling or ADR training desirable.
