Accounts Assistantrole in a fast-growing Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Waterford City. The practice has a mix of clients from all types of industries and provides a highly professional, quality, client orientated service to all their clients who operate in variety of industries. This role that will report to both the client and the Practice Manager. The overall purpose of this role is to provide an overall excellent and accurate bookkeeping service to each of the clients worked on and assist some of the accounts preparation staff. The Key responsibilities will be: Bringing accounts to Trial Balance stage Reconciliation of the bank accounts Generation and posting client Sales invoices, maintaining Debtor reconciliations. Assisting on Processing Creditors Invoices and performing creditors reconciliations Processing payroll, Vat, P30's & RCT Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts The ideal Candidate Extensive experience of all aspects of accounts At least 2-3 years accounts experience within a practice or industry Payroll experience a plus Proficient in Sage line 50 or similar and MS Excel Excellent organisational and communications skills essential Strong attention to detail is essential and non-negotiable to perform this role well.
