As a Rebate and Accounting Manager, you will oversee rebate programs, ensuring timely and accurate payments and reconciliations along with supporting the finance function of the company.
You will work closely with the Business and Finance Departments to ensure all calculations and procedures comply with contractual requirements.
Schedule: Full-time position, Monday – Friday, with standard working hours

Primary Responsibilities: Maintaining and enhancing the team's rebate payment calculation, reporting, and communication processesProducing monthly forecasts for the businessUnderstanding client contractual obligations and performing detailed manual calculations to determine the rebates due to clients based on those obligationsPrepares internal and external reporting to support payments to clients and performs rebate payment reconciliationsEvaluates client contracts and amendments on an ongoing basis and tracks updated rebate payment terms to ensure accurate client liability forecasts and calculationsReviews and analyses rebate reimbursements to ensure contract complianceRecord accounting journals as required for month end processingSupport senior management with the finance functionMakes recommendations for process improvements when identifiedSupporting financial audits and month end management report as requiredConducting ad hoc analyses as neededSolves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysesYou will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or accreditation with professional accounting body (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Understanding of generally accepted accounting principlesAdvanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with SAP / PeopleSoft Financials is an advantageExperience in pharmaceutical rebate processing, contract management, or a related finance role is desirablePreferred Qualifications: Ability to read, understand and execute on detailed contract language.Proficiency in financial software and databasesSoft Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and learn quicklyStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
