TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders on behalf of Ireland’s leading Mainstream Children’s Residential Services based in Limerick city and East Limerick County.
This is a full-time permanent contract working 39 hours per week.
Position is also open to newly graduated Social Care Workers!
Social Care Workers in a residential setting work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to service users. Children/young people may be referred to a residential setting for a number of reasons by the Social Work department, e.g., family breakdown/separation, history of neglect, sexual/physical abuse, addiction, or mental health issues. Residential care aims to provide a therapeutic care placement to service users who most often present with emotional or behavioural difficulties and cannot live with their own families.
Opportunities are also available in Special Care in Limerick.
Salary Range for Social Care Workers:
€38,451 - €39,993 - €41,892 - €43,281 - €44,685 - €46,096 - €47,530 - €48,985 - €50,430 - €51,909 - €53,436 - €54,445 LSI
Salary Scale for Social Care Leaders:
€54,157 - €55,328 - €56,498 - €59,618 - €60,827 - €62,028 - €63,245
Premium rates can account for an extra €5,000 on top of your annual salary. Successful candidates can expect premium rates on top of the above.

Requirements:
Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU, or hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary).
Hold a BA in Social Care or be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence of application will be necessary) and have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office.
Must be fully flexible to work across all rosters and must hold a clean manual full Irish license.
