Overview
Calling all high-calibre Electrical Project Engineers/Managers! We have a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing & reputable Irish based, internationally reaching company.
This new vacancy has arisen for someone to manage a team of 10 engineers with an M&E or electrical focus on industrial factory projects ranging from working on €100k refrigeration machines & solar panels to multi-million euro new industrial sites in Waterford and surrounding counties. This role will be mostly based in the Waterford HQ with 2 days a week travelling to sites in Waterford or surrounding counties. Candidates must have their own vehicle for this role.

The Role
* Management of the design, implementation, and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects; focusing on a broad range of Group Projects from Building Services to Production facility upgrades.
* Manage and coordinate elements on multiple projects across various production sites for the duration of projects.
* Design and tender engineering projects, including generating user requirement specifications, tender specifications, and tender drawings.
* Verification, commissioning, and handover of engineering systems to end users.
* Develop project budgets and manage them throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects.
* Design engineering systems and upgrades and implement them.
* Provide technical support to production sites.
The Candidate
* A 3rd Level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
* A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Project Engineering role within Engineering Project Management functions, with experience working on medium and large-scale capital projects.
* Certified qualification in Project Management is preferable.
* Proven experience in delivering projects from conception to completion.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel to production sites throughout Ireland, and possibly the UK if required.
