Technical Records Specialist
About Your New Employer:
Our client, a leading Aviation company, is seeking experienced Technical Records Specialists to join their Shannon site due to continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage aircraft engine documentation, lease records, and compliance reports.
* Oversee engine documentation for short-term leases, operations leases, and lease pool inductions.
* Create and manage Lease Return Discrepancy Reports and structured documentation files.
* Engage with stakeholders frequently on report and process updates.
* Review customer-supplied documentation for accuracy and resolve any outstanding paperwork issues.
* Conduct Back-to-Birth (Bt B) reviews for Life Limited Parts (LLPs) and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Collaborate with customers, technical consultants, and internal teams to compile essential engine data packs.
* Interpret manufacturer manuals and service documentation for LLP cycle restrictions.
* Stay up to date with critical Airworthiness Directives and industry best practices.
* Use specialized databases to manage and analyze live and archived engine/component records.
* Support engineering and technical services teams based on customer needs.
Requirements:
* NFQ Level 8 qualified in Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft engine documentation, lease management, or aviation records.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and compliance documents.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to liaise with customers and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in aviation record systems and databases.
