We are now recruiting for Assistant Managers for Supermac's/Papa Johns/Supersubs for The Kinnegad Plaza.
JOB PURPOSE: The Assistant Manager provides ongoing support to the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their unit. The Assistant Managers work as a team with training coordinators, and staff at the unit level. The Assistant Manager reports to the 1st Assistant Manager in the absence of the General Manager. Ongoing support and development are given from the General Manager, and various management duties will be delegated as necessary. Within that scope fall many key functions such as budgeting, staffing, training, community involvement, inventory control, labor control, etc., all of which you will be involved in the course of your duties.
The Assistant Manager is fully responsible for the customers, staff, operations, and cash on his/her shift, and will be held accountable to ensure company policy is met in each area.
THE JOB:
* Assists in maintaining financial control, and inventory management, maximizes sales and profit potential.
* Coaches, counsels, and works with the General Manager to develop Training Co-Coordinators, and staff, leading to and maintaining high sales and profits.
* Responds to General Manager requests.
* Assists the General Manager in recruitment, training, development, and HR planning.
* Assists the General Manager in community & civic involvement.
* Works with the General Manager to investigate and respond directly to employee relations and customer complaints.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Fast-paced, “non-stop” environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain requirements of the business with regards to the level of business, quality of staff, quantity of staff, preparedness for business demands, etc. Certain business volumes necessitate prolonged periods without sitting down.
Full flexibility is required for this position, as the job involves working on both weekdays and weekends.
