Your New Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
As a key driver in the design, layout, and continuous improvement of the factory and production processes, you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and design to optimise workflows, maximise efficiency, and ensure the production environment meets the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing optimal factory layouts
* Designing efficient workstations
* Specifying and integrating new equipment
* Optimising existing production lines
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Providing technical expertise and support
* Collaborating on new product introductions
Requirements for Success
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
* 5-7 years of industrial manufacturing engineering experience
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro-E (Creo)
* A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
* A proven track record of innovation and process improvement
* The ability to work on your own initiative and lead others
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronics, assembly work, and safe working practices
* Experience in using ERP systems
