Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Network Build Coordinator in the Cork area to work directly with our client on our Contract Resource Team. The role requires an experienced Build Coordinator to meet aggressive expansion and cable network construction programs. Success will be heavily dependent upon methodical coordination of internal and external tasks and resources.
The role of the Network Build Coordinator is a highly responsible problem solver, capable of maintaining a critical eye on construction progress aligned with program delivery milestones. The Build Coordinator must be demanding in their expectation of process output and process owner respectively. Successful program delivery can only be achieved through meticulous organisation, good planning, risk mitigation, and a determination to deliver results. The Build Coordinator will own responsibility for build capability and execution quality.
Responsibilities:
Specific Tasks / Duties:
* Responsibility for successful network build, aligned with build program schedule.
* Responsible for appropriate and adequate Build Partner resource deployment, escalating risk when necessary.
* Maintaining workflow management system.
* Technical Readiness network completion, in advance of access network build.
* Ensuring adequate stock availability, in advance of build date.
* Forecasting work instructions to meet Build Program plans – prompting stakeholder updates to avoid build program/pack release failure.
* Ensure specific build risks have been mitigated in advance of build program (i.e., ESB proximity, special engineering difficulties etc.).
* Ensure timely capital budget approvals and Purchase Order creation, to meet build program.
* Assistance with month-end ‘work in progress’ spend accruals.
* Monthly contractor stock take governance.
* Tracking build progress actual vs forecast vs budget.
* Maintaining quality through continuous liaison with independent build Quality Audit teams.

* Prioritisation of tasks assigned by our client.
* Positive ‘thinker’ with a solution-based ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Smart dashboard progress report creation and stakeholder circulation.
* Drive corrective action (internally or externally) when program risk has been identified.
* Weekly Build Partner resource tracking, ensuring that build capability is maintained through productivity output tracking.
* Unwavering Construction Manager commitment and support at all times.
Main Outputs:
* Build progress tracking, based upon Business Intelligence data.
* Collation of build snags and corrective build location data, ensuring build completion is achieved despite obstacles.
* Constructive feedback on build and crewing resource quality and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participation in regular progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Build Partner weekly capability data, based on build progress tracking and assessment.
* Highlighting potential program risk when build milestone failures arise.
* Continuous liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are maintained.
* Validation of Build Partner/Contractor invoice claims.

Essential:
* Minimum 5 years previous construction organisational experience within the Telecoms Industry.
* Decision Making based on rationalisation of facts.
* Full Clean driving License.
* Contractor liaison and Contractor Supervision.
* Computer literate preferably with Microsoft Office experience.
* Effective and accountable, self-motivated remote worker.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of fibre-based telecoms infrastructure.
