Role Summary
Ei Electronics is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing facilities, ensuring all electrical systems operate efficiently and safely. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
* Install, test, and commission electrical systems and components in line with company and regulatory standards.
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement electrical solutions for process improvements.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with Irish electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
* Assist in energy management and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Fully qualified electrician with a valid trade certification.
* Minimum of 3 years of post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
* Familiarity with Irish electrical standards and regulations.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Previous experience in energy efficiency or sustainability projects.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
