Our client is an industry-leading financial services company and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Administrator to join their team in Limerick. This position has an initial fixed end date of 31 st December with the possibility of extension. This position is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain valuable experience as you will be working alongside a Tax Analyst as part of the Custody Tax Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with tasks assigned by the Team Leader and senior team members.
2. Manage, process, scan, record, distribute, and file large volumes of daily documentation.
3. Prepare tax breakdowns and WHT reclaims.
4. Escalate issues promptly as needed.
5. Collaborate with relevant contacts to provide excellent service, addressing queries and escalating when necessary.
6. Ensure awareness and adherence to service level agreements.
7. Support the team in exceeding client expectations and requirements.
8. Build strong relationships within and across teams, offering assistance when needed.
9. Review and identify opportunities for process automation or workflow improvements.
Requirements:
10. Business/Tax or similar 3rd level qualification.
11. Ability to work under pressure and successfully deliver to tight deadlines.
12. Demonstrated client servicing capabilities and excellent communication skills.
13. Must be resilient to pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly.
14. Accuracy and attention to detail.
15. Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
16. Good core IT skills – Excel, MS Office, Word etc.
