Job Title: Administrator
Unijobs is recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a 6-month contract role based in South Dublin.
Role Summary:
This position provides comprehensive administrative support, ensuring efficient management of the office and associated responsibilities. The role also involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, assisting with projects and committees, and supporting strategic service development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support:
o Manage an office, ensuring smooth operations.
o Handle diary management, scheduling, and coordination of meetings.
o Process correspondence, prepare reports, and maintain confidential records.
o Provide administrative support for projects, committees, and regulatory compliance.
o Deputise for the Medical Administrator as needed.
* Communication & Liaison:
o Act as the first point of contact for a member of staff.
o Liaise with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders.
o Ensure effective communication and follow-ups on key matters.
* Operational & Compliance Duties:
o Assist with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
o Maintain records, policies, and reporting documentation.
o Support risk management, quality, and safety initiatives.
o Adhere to data protection, confidentiality, and hospital policies.
* General & Shared Responsibilities:
o Ensure a safe, organised, and compliant work environment.
o Provide cross-cover and support for medical administration and communications teams.
o Assist in planning and coordinating annual and cyclical hospital events.
Requirements:
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
* Minimum of two years' administrative experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
* Understanding of the healthcare sector (desirable).

* Full-time, 35-hour workweek with some flexibility required.
