Job Title: Accounts Assistant/Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity within our accounts department for someone looking to start their career in accounts. The successful candidate will assist the financial controller and the Accounts team with day-to-day accounts tasks.
The Role:
* Stock & Vehicle invoices
* Nominal Reconciliations
* Inter Company Reconciliations
* Contract lease register
* Cashbook
* Phone Enquiries
* Working with regional dealers
In addition, you will cover the duties of the receptionist when they are not available, including interacting with customers, taking phone calls, registering cars, completing follow-up calls, handling correspondence, preparing lodgements and depositing at the bank, taxing cars.
Key Responsibilities:
* Posting of purchase invoices and reconciling to creditors statements
* Printing and posting of debtor statements monthly and making phone calls where necessary to follow up outstanding balances
* Monitoring aftersales warranty accounts, cash sales accounts, vehicle sales accounts to ensure outstanding balances are cleared in a timely manner and the accounts kept up to date
* Processing and paying sublets invoicing
Requirements:
* Accounts Admin experience is an advantage but not mandatory as full training is provided
* Excellent Computer skills, especially Excel
* Customer service experience
* Highly organised and efficient
* Excellent both written and oral communications
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Self-initiative
